The large Amphitheatre roof (3750m²) at the Amphitheatre and Monument Restaurant is ideal for smaller music performances or markets. The area can accommodate 177 stalls, all under one roof. The amphitheatre roof also has limited power outlets along the walls.

Gallery 20.20 is located inside the main office building on the Voortrekker Monument Site. It was designed to accommodate alternating exhibitions and is available to artists who would like to display their work. This space can also be used as a conference facility.

Info – Hall of Heroes

Capacity 400 pax

As a unique declared South African National Heritage Site, The Voortrekker Monument is ideal for classical music and choir performances. The accoustica in the Hall of Heroes (781m²) is comparable to European cathedrals and produces a 6 second echo. The second level of the Monument, the Cenotaph Hall (1824m²), is more suited for conservative activities due to its spiritual sensitivity. Due to its unique architecture, the Monument is an exceptional place for that special wedding!

The Outspan Place is located next to the Voortrekker Hall at the picnic area and is suitable for private functions. This area has braai facilities and offers a beautiful view over Pretoria.

The picnic area located in the Voortrekker Monument Nature Reserve includes a braai area with a large boma. The Voortrekker Hall (496m²), equipped with a kitchen, is conveniently located at the picnic area. This site is ideal for picnics, braais, parties, functions, festival and just having a good time.
