Stand together to develop the VTM as our cultural home.

There were more than 20 000 people at the Voortrekker Monument during the last Day of the Vow. More than 20 000 people showed up for Steve Hofmeyr’s recent concert. Surely there are more than 20 000 people in South Africa who can and want to support the Voortrekker Monument!

Here is the challenge – 20 000 friends for the Voortrekker Monument by 16 December this year.

In 2021, Project 10 000 was launched, and more than 11 000 people answered the call and joined as friends of the Voortrekker Monument. This cultural centre is undoubtedly a beacon of hope for thousands of Afrikaners.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Monument was on a knife-edge of survival, but due to the thousands of people who decided to support us, we were able to start getting back on the horse.

As mighty as the Monument stands on this hill, as steadfast is the Afrikaner’s place here at the southern tip of Africa. That is why it is a great privilege for us to be able to preserve and develop this site as a cultural home that can be enjoyed by thousands of people every year.

Come one, come all! Invite your friends and invite your family! We are over 20 000 strong!
