Heritage Gamification is an exciting game where participants embark on a journey of discovery across our historical site to learn more about the Afrikaner history and heritage in an interactive, playful way.

Participants register at Reception and then purchase a blue Heritage Gamification bag containing the necessary items to embark on their journey of discovery and earn their wagon wheels.

On your marks … get set … explore!

• Wagon wheels, or badges, are earned by correctly answering or performing a combination of questions and activities at each route point related to our Afrikaner history and heritage.

• There are 3 routes on the route map that can be completed.

• Each route offers four wagon wheels that can be earned, as well as several bonus wagon wheels.

• There are 50 wagon wheels in total that can be collected per bag, of which 35 are free and 15 are paid wagon wheels.

• Each route takes on average between one and two hours to complete.
